The book collects and translates 12 contemporary theatrical texts by Cuban and Italian authors and two critical essays by Osvaldo Cano and Rodolfo Sacchettini: a confirmation of the cultural proximity between Italy and Cuba and a tool for future cultural and artistic cooperation and exchanges. The cooperation project between Cuba and Italy ¡Que no baje el telón! aims to strengthen the ISA Faculty of Theatrical Art, designed by Roberto Gottardi, both by restoring the seat and promoting this book, as well as staging an Italian text in the Faculty of Theatrical Art, in addition to those collected in the anthology.
